Occupational Healty and Safety Policy

 

IMPROVEMENT OF THE SITUATION REGARDING OHWS HAZARDS; 

We assure the security and health of our employees (by taking care of the special situation  of the disabled and pregnant employees), enterprise and production by reducing the risks posed by the sources that may endanger our Occupational Health and Work Safety,  thereby creating a secure working environment. We aim at creating an awareness  about our difference by reducing our risks to an acceptable level.

COMPLIANCE WITH RELEVANT LAWS;

We undertake to comply with the laws, regulations and standards concerning Occupational Health and Work Safety (OHWS) and  aim at maintaining the norms which are valid within the body of SA-MO-PAR. We take care that products and processes are free of any hazards during the development, planning and investment phases. We also attribute importance to creating a healthy and secure environment in which our employees can work. We carry out our activities in cooperation with other institutions and organizations.    

TAKING CARE FOR NEW INVESTMENTS AND PROJECTS;·          

We attribute importance to work safety factors in new investment projects.  We start our projects without giving a chance  for the occurrence of risks by minimizing the hazards indicated in the laws. We develope OHWS Management System by reviewing and supervising its permanently and regularly.

ENSURING THE PARTICIPATION OF EMPLOYEES;

As SAMOPAR team, particularly the Senior Management, we are aware that the  responsibility for the protection of occupational health and work safety belongs to all of us  and that we have to actively participate in all the activities in this regard within the framework of our roles and responsibilities. For that purpose we develop ourselves continuously about the  the protection of the occupational health and work safety by means of an effective information flow and training programs. We develop the sensibility of our employees and suppliers about occupational health and work safety and raise their consciousness about the importance of working in a healthy and safe environment.
